Departing Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE) is the private aviation hub of Broward County, minutes from Las Olas, Coral Ridge and Lighthouse Point. The private terminals at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International (FLL) suit Harbor Beach, Hollywood and southern Broward. Clients further north can depart from Boca Raton (BCT).
Teterboro (TEB): the Manhattan airport
Teterboro, about 12 miles from Midtown, is New York City’s busiest business aviation airport. The drive to Midtown or the Upper East Side typically takes 25 to 45 minutes, and a helicopter transfer to a Manhattan heliport is available for the fastest arrival. It is the natural choice for Midtown, Hudson Yards, the West Side and New Jersey.
White Plains (HPN): Westchester and Connecticut
Westchester County Airport, about 30 miles north of Manhattan, is ideal for Greenwich, Rye, Fairfield County and the Hudson Valley. It is typically less congested than Teterboro. Local agreements shape its operating hours, so we plan late-evening arrivals accordingly.
Choosing between them
If your destination is in Manhattan below 96th Street or in New Jersey, Teterboro usually wins. For Greenwich, Westchester or the northern suburbs, White Plains saves the drive through the city. When it is close, we compare live traffic and availability before recommending one.
