Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas Private Jet Charter

Fort Lauderdale is the yachting capital of the United States, and for many of our clients the Bahamas are simply the other side of the harbour. A private flight shortens that crossing to well under an hour: depart from a quiet Broward terminal, land in Nassau or the Exumas, and step onto a waiting boat or into a car.

Dominic & Atlas plans the journey end to end, whether you are joining your yacht in Staniel Cay, opening a family home in Lyford Cay, or arriving for a resort stay on Great Exuma.

Airport & FBO

We fly from Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE), a dedicated general aviation airport minutes from Las Olas, Coral Ridge and the Galt Ocean Mile, or from the private terminals at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International (FLL), convenient for Harbor Beach, Rio Vista and Port Everglades. Clients in northern Broward and southern Palm Beach County can depart from Boca Raton (BCT). Each terminal offers a private lounge and direct vehicle access to the aircraft.

Arriving in Nassau

Lynden Pindling International (NAS) is the gateway to New Providence and Paradise Island. Private flights clear through a dedicated FBO, with Bahamian customs and immigration handled on site, then continue by car to Lyford Cay, Cable Beach, Baha Mar or Paradise Island.

Arriving in Exuma and Staniel Cay

Exuma International (GGT) near George Town accepts jets and suits larger parties and resort stays. Staniel Cay’s airstrip places you in the heart of the Exuma Cays, minutes from Thunderball Grotto, the swimming pigs of Big Major Cay and the anchorages favoured by visiting yachts. Its runway is short and daylight-only, so we typically recommend a well-appointed turboprop such as a Pilatus PC-12 or King Air. Guests in a larger jet can land at Nassau or Great Exuma and connect onward by turboprop, seaplane or helicopter.

Aircraft recommendation
